SpringApp Technologies ("we," "us," or "our") built DayArc — a weather app for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains what information DayArc accesses, why it accesses it, and how it is handled. We believe in keeping things simple: DayArc does not collect, store, or share your personal information.

1. Location Data

DayArc may request access to your device's location in order to provide local weather forecasts and radar for where you are. When you first open the app, you will be asked to choose your preferred level of location access:

• While Using the App — your location is only used when DayArc is open on screen.
• Always — your location may also be accessed in the background to keep weather information current.
• Don't Allow — location access is declined. You can still use DayArc by manually searching for and saving cities.

You can change your location permission at any time in the iPhone Settings app:

Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → DayArc

When weather data is fetched, your approximate GPS coordinates are sent to third-party weather services (see Section 4) solely to retrieve the forecast for your location. No personal information accompanies these requests.

2. Approximate Location via IP Address

If you have not granted location access, DayArc may use your device's internet connection (IP address) to suggest a starting location. This lookup is performed by third-party services (see Section 4) and is used only to set an initial default. We do not store your IP address or any result from this lookup.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

DayArc saves the following information locally on your device only:

• Cities and locations you have saved or searched for
• App preferences and display settings (e.g. temperature units, theme)

You can remove all locally stored data at any time by deleting DayArc from your device.

4. Third-Party Services

DayArc uses the following third-party services to deliver weather data, radar imagery, and location detection. When the app communicates with these services, your location coordinates or IP address may be transmitted to them as a normal part of how they work. These services operate under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

SpringApp Technologies does not control these services and is not responsible for their privacy practices.

5. Apple Platform

DayArc is distributed through Apple's App Store. Apple may collect standard diagnostic and usage information as part of iOS and the App Store platform. This is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

6. Analytics and Crash Reporting

DayArc does not use any third-party analytics tools, advertising networks, or crash reporting services. The only diagnostic information that may be collected is through Apple's standard iOS reporting, which is subject to your device's privacy settings and Apple's own policies.

7. Children's Privacy

DayArc is a general-purpose weather application suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from any user. Because no personal data is collected or stored by SpringApp Technologies, the app is appropriate for users of all ages.

8. Data Security

All data saved by DayArc (cities and preferences) is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure on-device storage system. SpringApp Technologies does not have access to this data and does not transmit it anywhere.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Because DayArc does not collect or store personal information on our servers, there is no personal data held by SpringApp Technologies to access, correct, or delete.

For any data stored on your device, you are in full control:

• Revoke or change location permissions via Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → DayArc
• Remove all app data by deleting DayArc from your device

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will increment the version number and update the effective date shown at the top of this page. Continued use of DayArc after any changes to this policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and SpringApp Technologies ("we," "us," or "our"), the developer of DayArc — a weather app for iOS. 1. About DayArc

DayArc is a weather application that provides hourly and daily weather forecasts, radar imagery, and related weather information for locations around the world. It is designed to present weather data in a clear, time-accurate format for personal planning and general reference.

2. Use of the App

2.1 Permitted Use

DayArc is made available for personal, non-commercial use. You may use the App to access weather information for personal planning and general reference purposes.

2.2 Prohibited Use

By using the App, you agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App or any part of it
• Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its related systems
• Reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from the App or its content without prior written permission from SpringApp Technologies
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App or any associated third-party services

3. Location Data & Privacy

DayArc may request access to your Apple device's location services in order to automatically provide weather information relevant to where you are.

You can control or revoke location access at any time through your device's Settings app. Denying location access will not prevent you from using the App — you can continue to search for any location manually.

4. Weather Data & Accuracy

Weather forecasts displayed in DayArc are sourced from third-party weather data providers and are intended for general information and personal planning purposes only. SpringApp Technologies does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any weather information shown in the App.

5. Third-Party Services

DayArc relies on third-party data providers to deliver weather forecasts, radar imagery, and other related content. These services operate under their own terms of service and privacy policies, which are independent of SpringApp Technologies.

SpringApp Technologies is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, reliability, or content of any third-party service. Temporary interruptions to third-party data sources may affect the availability of some App features.

6. Intellectual Property

All content within DayArc — including but not limited to the app design, graphics, interface elements, colour schemes, layout concepts, and original visual features — is the intellectual property of SpringApp Technologies and is protected under applicable Canadian and international copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the App without the prior written consent of SpringApp Technologies.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SpringApp Technologies expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

• That the App will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or free from errors
• That weather forecasts will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific needs
• That the App will be compatible with all devices, operating systems, or software configurations
• That any defects or errors in the App will be corrected

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SpringApp Technologies, its directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of, or inability to use, the App
• Reliance on weather information or forecasts provided by the App
• Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the App or any related service
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data

In no event shall SpringApp Technologies's total liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the App exceed the amount you paid, if any, for accessing the App.

9. App Updates & Changes to Terms

SpringApp Technologies reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time, with or without notice. We may also revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, the version number and effective date shown at the top of this document will be updated.

Your continued use of the App after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. The current version of these Terms is always available at www.springapptech.com.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia, Canada.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.
